Hi, I’m Lena, although to my family, I am simply Amma. I’m a grandmother who has joyfully stepped back into the world of homeschooling, this time with my granddaughter. With her parents working full-time, I was given the privilege of becoming her homeschool teacher, and I knew immediately what a gift it was.
Homeschooling isn’t new to me. Years ago, I homeschooled my youngest child, who graduated two years early and is now thriving in college. That experience showed me how powerful a flexible, child-centered education can be. It taught me that children grow into confident, capable young adults when we teach with love and intention.
Now, I have the unique blessing of combining my roles as grandmother and teacher. Our days are filled with books, hands-on projects, creativity, and curiosity. It’s not just about academics, it’s about building memories, nurturing character, and discovering the joy of learning together.
